Four years ago, I was struggling with lingering menopausal symptoms. I was waking up at 3 am having poor sleep, memory, and low energy issues. I knew a deep cleanse, also known as panchakarma, could help, but I kept putting it off. It was too difficult to clear my calendar. I was too busy. I didn’t have the money. I simply had no energy.
That last excuse was exactly why I needed the cleanse.
When I finally committed to my first 21-day Cleanse, the results were transformative. My lingering menopause symptoms— hot flashes, anxiety, poor sleep, low energy, and that stubborn, puffy weight—vanished. I looked and felt 10 years younger, with renewed energy and mental clarity I hadn’t realized I’d lost.
That panchakarma was intense because many layers of accumulated toxins were eliminated through daily bodywork and treatments. The elimination process was rewarding but exhausting as it required deep purgation. I had no energy to do anything else, walking at a fast pace for 10 minutes was prohibited and out of the question.
That first intense retreat, which cost over $5000 in which Ayurvedic tradition requires two therapists and round the clock attention, prevented pretty much any other activity outside the cleanse. Since then, I’ve refined the process so I don’t have to take a month off work, spend a fortune and am able to live my life while carrying out a seasonal cleanse. I now prioritize my body and energy every fall and spring with a modified at home reset.
I’ve witnessed many friends and clients struggle with menopause, trying various retreats and detoxes and often envying my panchakarma experience. If you’re further along—beyond 12 months post-procedure—and haven’t faced significant complications, a group setting could be a great fit for you, providing support and connection with others who truly understand what you’re going through.

This will simply stop “adding fuel to the flame” and potentially level out any extreme symptoms especially as they pertain to reduce the extreme.
